Coilover Suspension needs to be raised

I need some major and quick help here to raise my car:

The previous owner said the height of the car was lowered 2" and where I live, Edmonton, it's getting to the point where snow is getting higher. When I remove the wheels, I didn't see the adjustable suspension I thought was suppose to be there. The previous owner is slow replying his emails but I need to raise the car as soon as I can. I need to be able to get to work at the hospital during the christmas break.

He said there should be a bolt underneath the coilovers and so I was wondering if any of you may have a clue about which one it is.

So here are some pictures.. 3 from the front, 5 from the rear. please let me know which bolts to unscrew.. thanks.

Those look like Lowering springs..

Lowering Springs:

Coilovers:
Notice the adjustable discs on the bottom of the spring.

The 'adjustable' he may be talking about, could possibly be the strut stiffness.. not ride height.

#1: What Year Prelude? Base or Type SH? 5-sp or Auto?

Those don't look like any coilovers I've ever seen my friend. You got ripped off if he told you those were coilovers.

Coilovers should look something like this... TEIN Super Street Damper w/ Pillow Ball Upper Mount for 97-02 Honda Prelude at Andy's Auto Sport

They may be lowering springs..if so...you will have to replace the springs to get more height...not adjustable.

Also it looks as if he ripped your ball joint boot and is now leaking oil.. its not the biggest deal but it will squeak eventually and if it develops play, can be dangerous to drive.

No it's not ripped, the floor is just wet from the snow. I don't know if there's anyway to raise it... I'll have to put in new springs then.

The car is a 1998 prelude base model.

will the stock springs from a 97 lude SH fit my 98 lude base?

PS.

yeah i don't like the cannon either but i'm not sure i want to put a stock muffler back in. planning to put a silencer on and leave it. the lip kit is made of polyester/plastic for snow. mind you we can get snow all year round except August. not sure if I want to paint the lip kit.

not sure what else i can do with it.. it's pretty much what i wanted it when i purchased it. plus i do not want a spoiler.

NO they will NOT fit.

OK I gotcha, good to know you didn't just slap it on there and high five yourself job well done.

Is it a full exhaust? (Header, Catback, Exhaust). If not, I would definitely put the stock one back on. The silencers are kinda terrible too, but better than nothing.

The problem is with the kit is the fitment. I would be very wary of painting it as your gonna have a hard time getting that to fit correctly.. use a lot of flex additive I guess..
