clutch slave bleed screw location?

Stupid question I know...I took a quick look at the car yesterday and didn't pull the right wheel or splash guards -- but I can't really see where the clutch slave cylinder is located so I can get to the bleed screw.

Anyone have any tips on the best way to access it -- do I pull the wheel or can it be gotten to from the topside?

Also, clutch master cylinder ran dry...refilled it and pumped the clutch many times to get pressure back. Car is VERY hard to shift into first gear now (other gears are ok). I'm assuming there must still be air in that hydraulic line; would you guys agree?

Thanks,
-S

Yup, pretty much right in front of you when you pop the hood. Just follow the line from the master cylinder if you don't see it.

Yes, you must still have air in the system. You can't just fill it up and expect it to work. You need to rebleed it. But it sounds like you have a leak somewhere. So refilling and bleeding is just a very temporary fix. It sounds like you should just take it to a shop...you seem to not have enough knowledge to do the work (no offense).

Thanks guys...no offense taken...yes I can do this stuff myself (I've pulled engines before, etc.), just been running ragged lately and had zero time to even look for where the slave was mounted.
