clutch questions!!! please help

i just got off the phone with a local shop here and they said that they dont recommend an act six puck w/ an extreme pressure plate. but they recommend a street disc w/ a heavy duty for an SH. i know for a fact that im not in the racing scene and i just got basic mods, im not planning on turbo or anithing time soon. but do you guys think that anithing would be wrong if i did get the 6 puck? thanks alot for comments

Thats a big overkill for your setup.....you would be fine with an organic clutch or maybe an exedy stage 2 or something similar.

Agred... it's overkill. And what your local shop is suggesting is a better choice for you.

I used the stock pressure plates, clutch disc, and a fidenza fly wheel.

The lighten fly wheel makes a big difference!!!

ACT-style super high clamping force pressure plates do no favors for your thrust bearing in the engine.

if you insist on an act six puck, get their heavy duty pressure plate instead of their extreme.

I have the HDR6, and its not bad at all.
My friends that have driven it say pedal pressure is pretty close to stock.
