my pedal stuck to the floor too when the line was dry. its nothing unusual. you just gotta have someone work the pedal while the other fills the reservoir and bleeds the slave cylinder. youll eventually feel it start building pressure in the pedal as long as youre bleeding it right.

i dunno. for the love of my life i couldnt bleed it right. I would have one person pump it 10 times, hold the pedal down by hand and I would unscrew the bleeder on the slave cylinder for a while and put it back after like 5 secs. then i would repeat the process... IT STILL STICKS TO THE FLOOOOR!

*it feels like I cant get the bleeder screw in the slave cylinder to be put in straight, it seems to always go in crooked.

You're not supposed to take the bleeder screw completely out. Put a hose on the bleeder screw and put the other end of the hose in a container to catch the fluid. Have your friend pump the clutch pedal and hold it then you should open the bleeder valve slowly. Not even a full turn of the wrench. Fluid should slowly come out. Close the valve. Repeat. Keep the clutch reservoir full at all times.

Ya. It's a "bleeder screw" not a hole "plug." Just barely break it loose. Also if you're wondering. You "can" use a vacuum bleeder to get fluid into the system, but you have to physically pump the peddle to complete the process. The system needs to be under pressure in order to operate. You can get all the air you want out with a vacuum bleeder, and the clutch peddle will still fall right to the floor. Even the genuine honda service manual instructs that the system needs to be bled by pumping the peddle.

I learned this the hard way. I replaced the master cylinder, and slave cylinder. I kept the Reservoir full at all times, and bled all the air out of the system using a hand vacuum bleeder. I got in the car and the clutch peddle dropped right to the floor. Then I went back and re-bled it the "old" fashioned way, and it has worked fine ever since.

get the bleeder valve in straight (dont cross-thread it). can you tell that air or is escaping the line when you open the bleeder valve? if yes then youre doing that part right. just make sure to close the valve while the clutch pedal is still on the floor so you dont suck air back into the line. then repeat the process.

Yep sounds like user error as im sure its been said before ill go through a quick outline of the process i havent read all the posts sorrys if its been told. pump the clutch lets say 10 times keep it to the floor go unscrew the bleeder screw lets say 2 full turns make sure the reservoir is full put a tube over the bleeder screw and clamp it on. suspend the tube in clutch fluid pump the clutch till you see no bubbles and watch the clutch reservoir if you let it empty you have to start over... when you see no bubbles with the clutch to the floor tighten the bleeder screw and let go of the clutch, pump it to make sure it holds pressure if not start checking for leaks.
