is clutch engagement point relative to clutch life

what i mean is the higer the engagement point of your clutch have anything to do with how much clutch disk is left? and does your clutches seem to have relativley high enagement points(like it catches when the pedal is more than half way out)

I have heard and experienced that the if your clutch catches high on the pedal that yes it does mean your clutch is becoming worn out. When my clutch was dying it caught at the very top.

so when you got the new clutch was the enagagment point almost on the floor?

i thought it doesnt matter because there is clutch fluid that provides pressaure to make it smooth

i was really referring to the point that the clutch begins to grab (distance from the floor), and pressure shouldnt really matter cause we have hydraulic clutches i think

yeah its really low compared to where it was on my dying stock clutch. I'm sure its just at the stock recommended distance.
