Clear bra

I'm just wondering if anyone has installed a clear bra on their lude to protect the paint? does anyone even make a clear bra for a 5th gen prelude?

My dad recently got one installed on his mazda3. It leaves a very visible line across the hood. I'm not a fan.

I know a stripper that uses clear bras.

3M makes something like that. I have some on my headlights but they also make them for front ends and such.

IMO the chips don't look any worse than the line from the clear bra. Also, if you already have a bunch of chips, it is too late for the bra to do any good.

As far as I know they do not make a precut mask for the 5th gen. Even if they did trying to complete the task yourself would be a costly mistake. I had my 5th gen masked and it turned out nicely @ a cost of $300 for the bumper alone. I had just dropped a dime on a paint job and wanted to ensure it be the last. Rock chips are no big deal if they exsist prior to masking just get touch up paint and hit them up with 1500 grit sand paper till feathered in smooth to the touch. The mask contains petroleum that acts as a clear coat so the repaired chips will not be noticed. It's been a year now and no compaints. I'd say go for it.
