Cleaning IACV help

Tried to pull my IACV off today to clean it (following this thread: How To: Clean IAC Valve (smoothes out rough idle)

Says on that thread that I should have 2 hoses connected to my IACV.. I see none.

Also had trouble getting the bolts off, maybe just need to try a socket extension? I am removing the top 2 that face upwards correct?

Here is a picture of my actual IACV:

Any help would rock

Sure, if you're trying to remove your intake manifold.

OK so don't remove those bolts. Which ones do I remove? The 2 I circled here? One is hex though I believe.

Any direction would help.. kind of a rookie obviously

yes those are the two bolts you should take off, evidently someone replaced that top bolt for a hex though cuz its supposed to have two 10mm or 12mm i forgot bolts. and youre supposed to have two coolant lines running to the iacv underneath

Yeah the coolant lines are missing, and the bolt on the top is too. Either way un bolt it from the highlighted bolts, and then you'll see that there are two small holes on the side of you AICV which you want to flush out with throttle body cleaner... flush into clear container until the fluid coming out of the AICV is as translucent as possible. Inspect inside the valve and see if the small ridge looking things are as white as can be. If you are trying to solve a revving idle problem, also check out your FITV and re tighten the yellowish round thing under the bronze lid. This I personally found was my answer to the revving idle. Good luck, any questions PM me bro
