Keep posting threads Brock707, its like throwing a helpless baby seal into shark infested waters. I get a good laugh out of the replies posted after your brainless actions. I am by no means the car guru but WOW. Very comical.
I heard there was a way to chip a prelude if you tune it? Can anyone explain? I know it most definitely does not involve buying a "chip" off of ebay...
I heard there was a way to search for your own info.
Actually I've spent over an hour reading threads on it, on this forum and others, yet I still don't fully understand the process. Hence, I'm asking for more information...

I have never done it but I believe the Preludes ecu has a EPROM, or erasable programmable read only memory on the board. You can change the contents of this special type of ROM and the new program will remained fixed when installed back on the circuit board.

Have you heard anything about replacing the ECU with OBD1, p72 for example, then chipping that and getting it tuned? I've read a bit about it, but so far I haven't decided if its a good idea or not. After reading about the "plug and play" chips and their uselessness and even negative repercussions, caution is the word...
2. You normally buy a p72 (which is rare and you probably won't get one), it's probably a p28 or lesser version.
3. If you are really going to get a tune, what mods do you have? Are you going to retune whenever you get a new mod? Are you willing to spend for some real software instead of the crappy ones out there?
You probably shouldn't look into tuning right now judging by your lack of knowledge.
