I would suggest a type s swap. The swap will have like 30k or so on it.. With a rebuild you'll have to worry about how well it was done. I have heard the FRM sleeves have a special process for being honed.

1. Wrong forum
2. Pull the code, it will tell you why the light keeps coming on

mm. Hi there speck. Im just wondering how that could have happened? Did you race the lude or something and accidently rev to high? Is it possible if you can sum up the things that started to go wrong before you found out that you had bent valves. Reason why as it would help anyone out. H22a's are so prone to blowing up or bending valves etc the list just goes blody on

P0170 Fuel Trim (Bank 1)
P0171 System Too Lean (Bank 1)

Potential causes for the P0170 code are:

Volume air flow sensor output frequency
Injector
Fuel pressure
Intake air leaks
Engine coolant temperature sensor
Intake air temperature sensor
Barometric pressure sensor
o2 sensor
Exhaust manifold cracks

A code P0171 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:

The MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor is dirty or faulty.
Note: The use of "oiled" air filters (K&N, etc.) can cause the MAF to become dirty if the filter is over-oiled. There could be a vacuum leak downstream of the MAF sensor.

Hope this helps
