I have a 99 Prelude Automatic

My check engine light has been on for about 2 weeks or so and I finally went to the mechanic today and they gave me the following codes:

P1456
P0700
P1706

I did a little research on them and I came up with:

P1456 - p1456 means you have a leak in your evaporative system which collects the evaporative gases from you fuel and reroutes them back into the intake. you will notice increased fuel usage and possible overheating problems. there is a possibility that it might only be the fuel cap, but it is also possible that it is a much greater problem, as in a hole in the wrong place...

P0700 - Transmition control system malfunction

P1706 - Transmission control malfunction






I don't really know what any of these mean, so any help on how to fix it would be nice. Also, an estimate on how much it would cost to fix it.

I had these codes last year. Cleaned the EGR and ports, reset codes, codes never came back.
