i ahd this problem when i put in a after market 'cat' I put in a straight pipe with out the sensor and that turned on the check engine light. So i got the treads put in and put the sensor in. But then it wasnt in tight enough for a seal to be made so then i had to tighten it down alot more. So check that and then rest the computer. I dont know about the headers. I know there is a sensor in them too. Basically if you dont have the sensors in tight enough or in at all it will turn on the check engine light and then turn off the ATTS.

also if your tires are diffent sizes on the front and then back of the car the atts will turn off. you need to have the same size tirez and rims on front and back of the car. Otherwise the seonsors will turn off the atts

this also applies to goofy drops, or messin w/ your coilovers, and having uneven ride heights for each wheel. Everything must be with in about a 1/2" or the sensor will throw off the ATTS.

Hell my ATTS Light comes on every once in a while and not when I'm driving hard. I'm at stock height and on stock rims and tires. But when I turn hard from a stop it'll come on sometimes, or if I accelerate kinda hard after the car had been off for a few minutes.
It's annoying to keep resetting the computer, but I'm gonna take it in to go get looked at sometime.

hmmm...
that reminds me.

today:
right hander off-ramp, 40mph, 3rd gear, ATTS working... then , car studders, ATTS light on!
this happened at the last autox where on the last right hander, car studdered and then the ATTS light came on.
basically the same exact situations, except at the autox i was in 2nd gear but at about the same rpms.

i wonder if i have to replace the fluids again.

i've had some problems where it feels like the ATTS is kicking out, but no light shows up. Like, from a start, i'll be turning, and gun it, and the car basically dogs on me.

I suppose i should change the tranny fluid and ATTS fluid cuz i dunno the last time it was done on this car. !imagepree

The ATTS light automiticly goes on when a Check Engine Light is triggered. Find out what code your CEL is activated or and fix the problem. I would suspect the high flow cat.
