For pads, depending on what you are wanting to do with the car, I would have different recommendations. If you are wanting to track the car, like an HPDE, I would highly recommend a dedicated pad and rotor. If you are just driving spiritedly and an occasional autoX, a good dual-purpose pad would be fine > Carbotech AX6 or Hawk HP+
For most of us, the expensive size increasing brake upgrades are a bling item only.
