mainly I would want them for sound difference, looking to get a deeper sound out of the motor not LOUDER just deeper tone. Would a cheap ebay header and ebay catback minus the muffler accomplish this?

I have a magnaflow 2.5 inch universal muffler I would weld in to the catback to prevent any weedwacker sound, I want deeper tone but not louder per say.

looking to do this on a budget so would this work

buy cheap headers for $100 cheap catback for $100 only for 2.5inch piping use Magaflow muffler instead of cheap ebay muffler.

The header is a waste of time and money. The exhaust piping is sometimes worth it, but usually rusts out within a short time.
