Cheap Body work here in Missouri

Well today I took my car in to get an estimate on fitting up my Mugen kit and CF hood plus a total repaint with fixing 4 door dings.

The grand total comes to $1200

For that price I think I'll go ahead and have the rear and sides molded and pay the extra $$

And before the nay-sayer come the guy is AWESOME two trucks he painted placed in the NOPI Show( one got 2nd place for Best Paint) at Pigeon Forge TN. last summer. He has a new state of the art paint booth and uses guns that cost more than my paint job!

I guess it helps that he's my grandpa's neighbor too.

I love living in small towns.

Just thought I'd share the good news

Yeah I could easily do it but the guy wants to spray the underside of the hood-just the frame part. He wanted to do this just to make sure it matches the body color, perfectionist I guess.

Plus he's gonna add a clear coat to it and buff it out.

Unless you pay $5000 for a paintjob in Cali..I'd say don't bother. too long a trip......unless you strap our car to a jumbo jet.
