CF OEM spoiler with LED brakelight?

what do you guys think of that? i have some interest in getting a CF trunk lid but i want to keep the stock spoiler. i think it would look funny to have a white lude - CF trunk lid - White oem spoiler though.

so what are your thoughts on an OEM spoiler with, or maybe even without, LED brake light?

i dunno if anyone has thought of it but i got the idea off the NSX-R. though it won't look as good, i think the lude'll looks nice with both a CF trunk lid and CD oem spoiler.

cf trunk would rattle like a ***** with subs

a regular trunk with a spoiler rattles like a ***** IMO (i used to have the oem til i shaved it)

so u wanna do a cf trunk with a cf spoiler? just sayin if u had subs it might create some issues

I think it would be a bit too much if you had a cf hood, trunk and wing. Just get the hood and wing in my opinion. My car is white with cf hood and cf mugen wing and if I had a cf trunk, it would just be overkill.

cf trunk and wing is a lot of cf to go around, but I have seen a full cf MUEGN front bumper, sides, rear, wing, front grill etc before.

Are you trying to get interest in a CF OEM spoiler? Because if you are, I think they already have one. Not sure if they are selling it or not, but here it is.

No pics, but it's on their list.

ugh

what the hell is up with this cf craze

it doesn't even look that cool and it's not even gonna save u much weight when it comes to the trunk or the front lip or a spoiler..

and it's hideous when everything's all multicolored

^^well what's up with this LED craze where everything is being replaced with LEDs. i mean come on, it doesn't even look that kool and it's not like you're setting yourself apart from others since cars are coming out with that ish stock

anyways i want to get the CF hood, trunk lid, spoiler. i think it would look nice and i really don't even see that many people, or even any at all, with CF that isn't a hood.

good thing i don't have a system either. i really don't care about having like 10 subs in my car. i'm pretty content with the stock system. and with the right song my trunk'll rattle

as far as gauging interest, i guess i just wanted to know what other peoples thoughts were, especially since i've never heard anything about a CF oem spoiler. but thanks for the link. too bad it doesn't have a pic or a price though

I agree that CF should be for weight reduction, but I think the addition of CF lips and Spoilers is to minimize exactly what you're trying to avoid: multicoloredness. They add uniformity, but at the same time I don't like the way people are slapping these parts on as-is and not bringing in or integrating these parts (and their natural color/texture) into the dominant color scheme. Keep in mind there is alot of blackish colored parts (tires, plastic trim, tinted windows) that require design techniques to integrate them into the overall look. As-is = not very asthetically pleasing.

In all fairness I think you were right to defend the legitimacy of the "CF interest," but when you here someone wanting one while having a huge and heavy sub-woofer box/speakers and amps large enough to rattle the paint off, you begin to wonder why they don't simply remove the subs instead of replacing the lid and spoiler. If it's to achieve "the look," then I'd refer you to the above comments on that. Most think the CF craze has lost it's purpose and are tired of hearing about it. Even Ludatic knows people are tired of hearing about LED stuff, but I'm not

i was just messing around with the LED comment .

but i know that the CF trunk lid weighs considerably less (or so i've been told) then stock. the only reason(s) i even thought of getting a cf oem spoiler is becuase 1)i don't want to paint the trunk lid, 2) i want to keep the stock spoiler 3) i didn't want alternating colors i.e. if i had white fenders, CF door panels, then white rear 1/4 panels

Well I mean I've seen those crazy nsx's with like an ENTIRE cf body and crap, and those look nice as ****.

But when it comes to a CF piece here and there with nothing to match it it's kinda bleh..

I'm not too crazy about ludegirl's car with the cf front lip.. why? she has no cf hood to match it.

oh and the stock trunk isn't very heavy.. the hood on the other hand is. and i can understand gettin a cf spoiler if u have trunk.

as long as everything matches then do it.. but if you're just gonna get this one lil piece that stands out and just simply looks like a riced out civic with an unpainted kit, then BLEH TO YOU haha

Have you weighed one with the torsion bars disconnected? When you upgrade the one trunk torsion bar that goes with the OEM spoiler you have to remove just one. During that time you find out how much they help while you support the weight with your leg and lay in your trunk of death.

Really

I just remember the person who did make the cf trunk comparing the weight of each? It was like a 10 lb difference max. Of course I could be completely wrong

Eh don't listen to me I don't know anything
