Cf Face Gauges

First Has anyone seen a set of Cf indiglo's

Second If there is such a thing has anyone compared the carbon fiber on the indiglo's compared to the JDM gauge Bezel.

I'm really just looking for some CF indiglos

Thanx
Sorry about the first bad post.

I'm willing to bet you have no replies because we have no clue what the heck you're trying to say or ask. Are you looking for replacement gauge overlays that are CF AND Indiglo? If so, that's not going to happen. I've never seen a CF gauge overlay either but your best show may be to contact MMR and try to get something custom made. Seriously, though...read back through your thread and you tell me how easy it is to understand what you're asking.

Well...the way indiglo gauges work is that part of the overlay has a phosphorous coating that when energized with electricity it flouresces (glows). So, a black and grey CF (or even replica CF) overlay could not be indiglo because the phosphorous coating wouldn't look very good.

It probably couldn't be real CF anyway. It wouldn't fit under the needles.

BTW, be careful with Indiglos. I already lost one set of gauges to them.

yea i figured they wouldn't be real cf but i thought it would look good if you had the jdm cf bezel to go with it, if they don't have cf, i take it they don't have black ones

Honestly the JDM c/f bezel is a waste of money to me. You cant even see the damn thing unless the sun hits it. Take those $70 that the JDM bezel would cost and go get yourself a bj!

I hate how that could of been a real nice JDM peice but they had to make it out of plastic and not the real stuff

Both are "simulated" carbon fiber meaning they just have a crappy looking square pattern on them to look like CF. Does it really look like CF? Ehh. The bezel is matte to prevent glare when you're actually looking at your gauges and driving. The OEM kit is glossy. Beyond that, I'm not sure how close the simulated pattern looks on each and compare to the other, I only have the bezel.

Most people with the OEM kit like and and reccomend it. I was thinking of picking it up at some point.
