car sputtering

hey guys just checking to see if anyone has had the problem im having.

Last week i was dring on the highway at a high speed and all of a sudden the car hiccups and wont let me rev pass 3000 or so rpm and my check angine light comes on but if i turn off and on the ignition it goes away for a bit.
Some times if i drive it wont do it and other times it wont stop. so a few people said change the fuel filter, clean the egr so i did and still nothing any ideas?

Instead of turning it off....Go to autozone and check what the code says and means. Theres a reason why its there

Someone else on a CR-V forum IIRC said about the same sort of scanner issue.. they said even the reader at the dealership wouldn't connect and the dealership thought a component in the ECU went bad
