Car is Hesitating, and bogs hard at WOT - Honda Prelude Forum

Well i got my motor in the car finall, and am able to drive it again. But im having a few problems.
1: The car will bog down all the time. Like i give it gas and it sputters, and hesitabes, backfires, and then will accelerate once i back off the throttle. It doesnt do it when it is cold, it only does it when its warm. And it throws a CEL. I have the code in my car, and ill post it in a few. But i dont know what to do.

2: After i reste the ECu the car idles really low and then will die. And at lights i need to keep my foot on the gas slighty to keep it from dieing.

Anyone have any ideas?

Until you post the code there's no way to even guess. But to hazard a guess, it sounds like your MAP sensor is either unplugged or damaged. Post the code!

my car did that!

i took it to the dealership, they played around with it, jiggled the map sensor, and it hasnt come back since.

try jiggling the map sensor.
