I sold my car to my sister. Anyways, she returned from a weekend trip and tried to start the car. No lights on the dash worked. Headlights don't come on. This has happened before and I had to take it to Honda. Anyways, it seemed like they just resetted the ECU and it was fine.

The thing is, if it was just the ECU, wouldn't the headlights work? Anyways, I'm going to tell her to disconnect the battery and reconnect and see what happens.

Any other clue? BTW - alternator was changed less then a year ago.

Check battery voltage and all connections. This isn't the ECU.

Completely dead. I'm thinking that the battery connections are loose. I'll check it out when I go over to her house.
