Can you use USDM fog light wiring for JDM fog light? - Honda Prelude Forum

Hey guys,

My 5th gen lude has already USDM's foglight but one of the bulb died .... i have no idea how to change the bulb. I was about to remove the glass lens on the fog light but i killed one of the screws because they were so tight. I used #1 philip didnt help at all.

Is it possible using the USDM's wiring and then just plug & plug JDM's fog light? I think ill just remove the whole fog light lol if i can.... Thanks!

Yes you can. You will have to cut off the bumper harness's plugs at the end (where it conects to the lamp assembly) and crimp on female spade connectors to attach to the H3C bulbs.

I had USDM Fogs on my car initially too. Then I put on JDM fogs by removing the USDM ones, splicing the JDM fog's connector to the USDM harness and I rock and roll without any problems! woot!

I'm trying really hard to remove the USDM fog light assembly lol. My corner's light are stucked because one of the screw just won't come out no matter how i turn it but it will tightning if i turn it the other way ...

Is there any way to wire the USDM wire harness/JDM fog combo to come on without the headlights? I have seen ways to wire the JDM harness/fogs to come on without the headlights, but not USDM.

You using 1 or 2 relays with your USDM wiring? 4 pin or 5 pin?
