Can you fit an S2000 steering wheel on a Prelude?

Like is it like a direct fit no hub dealies? How much would an S2000 steering wheel cost?

I've thought about doing that ever since the S2k came out. I love the way the S2k steering wheel looks.

i think the price may be $700-$900US, but i know if u get it from a local dealer here he will charge me like $1200 for it...so am going to search for a spare....maybe at a junkyard.

Not only is that link bad, the site crashed IE when I tried to drill back up...

For a parts list, go here:

and another thread or two on the topic:

Thanks for those pages. How about a Honda Insight Steering wheel? Are those the same too?

I will try to go to a junkyard to find one.

Keep in mind if you go to a yard you will likely need to buy the airbag. I don't think a yard can sell one legally even if they do have one that hasn't been popped.

The Insight wheel is very similar but I understand it's very cheesey... though you you could probably leather-wrap it and make it look as nice.

Barring the airbag, the Honda parts aren't all that much...

If I ever swapped wheels, I would get a JDM 5th Gen wheel, it matches our interior better than the S2K wheel does.

I personally think S2k steering wheel does not match Prelude's interior. I say get JDM prelude's 3 spoke wheel.
