i recently bought my 98 prelude about 2 months ago i found out that i was running a 96 and up accord ecu and i had to hook up my vtec to a button its really annoying and i dont think im getting the full power off of my lude. Also i dont think that my IAB is working either. i have no check engine lights or anything like that. The motor is the jdm h22a non type s. My plans are to get a stock prelude ecu and take it to the dealer to get it reprogramed so my key would work. i hope they can use my original key to reprogram the new ecu. But anyways i read on acouple of other threads and they are saying it will work but then i would have to bypass or remove the knock sensor. tommarow im going to use my cousins obd2 p72 and see how it runs. one more thing will it pass smog with a bone stock p72? or should i get a VAFC and take it to the dyno to get tuned? sorry its so long i dont wanted to freak out when smog testes comes around. thanks agian
