camshaft upgrade,lower length of life?

Hey all,

Im considering buy some upgraded camshafts and cam gears,( Ive grown bored with the stock HP) as u all know an engine wouldn't last too long with a turbo kit and all other stock parts having too supporting the power boost, so im just wondering what sort of effect getting new cams and cam gears will have on the other stock parts of my engine. Is smart to upgrade the cams and gears alone? Will it lower the longevity of my beloved Prelude? Only other mods I have done is CAI and had a JDM swap done.

Thanks a lot.
