ok, so all of a sudden i notice my rear pass. tire is looking very slanted, so i look into getting it fixed. doing a little research i find on the 5th gens you CAN NOT adjust camber without a kit, and the cheapest place i could find was about $360 for all four. So when people where recommending me to a place called bear alignment and the good reputation they have, i called them up. he quoted me 190 to fix the camber and alignment, i asked him how much would it cost with the kit, and he said they dont need a kit, they will make the adjustments....i was like wtf, but it was alot cheaper so i was like what the hell, ill do it. he also said honda wouldnt notice a thing (cause i need some warranty work) and they offer a 90 warranty. i take it in, and he measures the camber, sure enough that one tire i noticed was bad was camber -2.00 and the others were -1.50.
ok, so heres how they fixed it.
he takes the tire off and replaces it with a metal plate type thing, then with a magnetic level stuck to the rotor, he places a hydralic pump thing between the plate and the upper control arm, right below the ball joint. then he basically bends the whole rotor assembly outwards.
he also left the cambers at -0.5 cause he said actual 0 camber makes the car corner bad.
and they also do all their adjustments by hand and measurements, no computers at all.
well, i was just wondering if anyone has any previous experience with this type of camber fix. i mean it seems good and the shop has been in business since like 1947 or somthin, and they also have a very good rep.

i don't think it s good for our suspension since it might be damaging the arm control right that is the thing he bend, makes it weaker prone to break later
i've heard of this place too, some guy at Robocar told me about it but i didn't think it was too good..they dont bend the suspension outwards, the BANG it with a hammer to fix it.. and i agree w/ dragazn, its gonna be weaker than it should be
this is a cheap way to fix your camber, but the only problem is that it is permanent and it isn't fixable... once you have your suspension setup a certain way, it has to stay like that... like the post above... if you try to raise your car back up you will get wack camber and you won't be able to bend it back or it will break...
nah this place doesnt do any banging with hammers, but i just hope i dont have any future problems.
weivos- how long did you have your car after getting the camber fixed this way? was it still ok, or were there problems?
damn lifetime guarrantee! this place only offers 90 day.
the guy said if i needed it bent back it would not be a problem........damn...i should have just got a kit....

I can't remember exactly how long I had my Integra after I had this done, but it was a while. Don't worry about it though. Nothing is just goin to "break" cuz they're only bending it a few millimeters or centimeters even. It's not like they're bending it 45 degrees...hehe. I was just saying that when I sold my Integra I put it everything back to stock and I noticed that I had positive camber when I raised my Integra back up. You should be fine though.
dragazn- do you mean you dont or do trust it?...im just resting mostly on their good rep and the fact that they have been in business for a long time, which i turn means they have done this to MANY cars.
weivos- ok cool, the guy told me the camber would change again if i raised or lowered the car again.

is that BEAR ALLIGNMENT from GARDENA? if so yes i believe them in sum what level but i really never heard of u dont need a camber kit but they really are good in allinging things
yeah thats and old trick but the drawback is the positive camber when you raise it back up.. pssh just dont lower it more than 1.5 inches and you wont need a camber kit hahah
true true, the best solution is to just raise up the car until you have good camber, not bad.
i had my car too low in the fronts at one point. i took it to a shop and they said to raise it a little bit. We did and it worked. I wrote down the number of threads I had on my ground controls so i wouldn't forget.
good luck. it appears they fixed your camber problem tho. don't worry about it too much. tires will go fast anyways.....

right now im on brand new kyb agx shocks w/ brand new H&R sport springs.
before i was on stock shocks and eibachs, and that was good for about 1 1/2 years then i noticed not only was the ride deteriorating but the camber on that tire was bad...first thing i did was change shocks....no improvement, then springs.....better, but the camber one that one tire was STILL bad....so then i got it fixed.....i have no clue what caused that one corner to go bad all of a sudden....and i have never been dropped over 1.5".
