Cam Gears on stock cams??

Hey, I need to replace my timing belt and other things in there too soooon, early next week probably monday, tuesday due to a whining sound.

And I was wondering if it would be a wise idea to pick up a set of cam gears to throw on there while they have everything off? Would it make a big difference on stock valvetrain or would it be a waste of money? I rather have a little more on the top end and lose a little down low.

Thanks,

Mike

i you have a couple extra hundred dollars to thrw around, why not. But you'll want to get them tuned on a dyno to maximize their potential. What other mods do you have>?

Seems like a waste at the time unless you have really big plans for the engine building... JMHO
