You most likely wont gain a lot of power. The aftermarket gears are often lighter than the stock ones which will reduce rotational mass and free up a small amount of horsepower. The main advantage is being able to retard/advance timing. Ive read around that slightly advanced timing will increase horsepower slightly as well but im not 100% sure of course.
