Cabin Filters Found on Amazon

Hey guys. Just wanted to post a quick note about a pretty good deal (or I thought so) on Amazon and our cabin filters.

WIX PN: 24694 Comes with 2 filters which is exactly what we need for 1 replacement.
Amazon.com: Wix 24694 Cabin Air Filter for select Honda Prelude models, Pack of 1: Automotive Amazon.com: Wix 24694 Cabin Air Filter for select Honda Prelude models, Pack of 1: Automotive

I ordered mine and had enough other stuff for free shipping and it arrived within about a week. Popped them in this morning. They were a perfect fit and seemed to be a nice quality from WIX.

Horrible, filled with dirt, leaves, feathers, hair! Stuff came in from the outside vent I guess. I will not let it go this long again.

Nice, seems like a good deal. WIX is known for making great quality oil filters so I'd definitely trust them.

I wanted to follow up on this thread after purchasing those filters.

Thank you PreludeNmphs for the good find. Here is some pictures!

I changed the filters on a my 2001 Prelude SH at 110k miles. They were unbelievably gross. It was a very easy job and I recommend doing this to anyone with a 99-01 prelude!

Also Protip: When the filters are removed, turn the fans on high and cover your eyes.. crap comes flyin outa there.

Yep, this was a good price. I bought 2 packs so i have a pair for later down the road. When I pulled out the original filters and found all the dirt and junk, I grabbed my vac with a small tip and got most of the "crap". No need for the goggles that way

Why would you turn your fans on and blow the crap out all over the place?

so it doesn't all clog up the new filters.

Either the blades of the blower are hitting the outer cage or debris have gotten into the blower. You can see down in there with the filter trays out and check it out, if it needs a cleaning just remove it and blow it off with compressed air and reinstall.
