A/C question

my car is missing the A/C compressor so i currently have no A/c which is fine with me but to get less parasitic draw would you recomend taking the rest of the A/C system out or just get a smaller belt that doesnt go to the A/C?but i DO want heat and my heat works fine.so will this smaller belt/removal of the A/C system affect my heat?im sorry but im very unfamiliar with A/C systems so idk.

they are 2 totally different systems. water flows through the block and radiator then into a hose in your firewall to the heater core creating heat. Then back to the block it is a never ending process until you switch the lever on your dash to cool then it blocks water from going to the heater core. so to answer your question no it will not effect your heat.

i thought they were completely seperate but i just wanted to make sure.so would anyone recommend taking all the A/C stuff out or just buy a smaller belt?i know removing the stuff would take longer but it would help reduce weight as well tho.
