Bye-bye SS tranny & T-belt tensioner

I noticed a vibrating noise coming from the engine at around 2K rpms and also that my tranny was slipping from 2nd to 3rd when it was cold...so I took it to the dealer.

here's the skinny:

99 SS, 34,000 miles (thank god it's still under warranty)
I've personally changed the oil (Mobil 1) and tranny fluid (Honda ATF) every 3,000 miles since I've had the car (bought it at 20K miles).

Here's what the dealer replaced
- Replaced timing belt and timing belt auto-tensioner
- Flushed tranny (didn't work)
- Replaced tranny shift solenoid (didn't work)
- Installed new tranny (problem solved)

And by the way J_Gray, I will be adding this to you're sportshift complaint website shortly.

I will probably be getting rid of this dog very shortly, I don't want to have to deal with replacing the tranny every 30,000 miles or so. Any suggestions on what kind of car to get next?
