buying oem body kit

since the body kit is discontinued, i might as well buy it now from hparts.com even though its not even my color right??? i mean since that kit isnt going to be made anymore i might as well get it while its there? SHOULD I BUY EVEN THOUGH IT COSTS $2352562652356 DOLLARS? i think its worth it.

I was under the impression that car companies are required to continue to make parts for the car 20 years after production has ceased. Is this only for mechanical parts or what?

hmm.. I'm not sure about the "20 years" part but since the OEM body kit is an accessory and not an actual basic body panel, wouldn't this requirement not apply?
