Hehe....I want to abuse a rental car too, too young though (only 19)....just use the e-brake and spinout or neutral drop, or brake tourque, that is what I did in my old '91 Sunbird!!!!

yea, is that lancer 4wd? if it is i have no idea how to do a burnout in it. since it's a rental car try the neutral drop. i don't think it has enough power to do a burnout though. I can't do it with my prelude. all i get is a really weak one.

My friend in his '95 Thunderbird (300+ ft/lbs ) just steps on the brake and the gas at the same time. He is RWD though, don't know if the FWD Lancer will do the same.

The Thunderbird did a full 25 second standing burnout...have it on video .

all you have to do is pay something like $9 a day for extra insurance and you can do whatever you want with the car. crash it, blow it up, drive it off a cliff. they cant touch you. cant wait till im old enough (only 19)

Neutral drops...unless you seriously do not care about the car whatsoever go ahead...otherwise...don't do it.

friend of mine tried to do one in a parking lot in a 14 passenger econoline van. these things have big V8s and RWD. He stook on the brake and hit the gas. BOOOMM broken brake lines in the front!! ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

brake fluid everywhere. I didn't even know he was going to try it. he just did it, the van lerched forward and thats all she wrote.

of course it wasn't funny at the time, but now it is!!
