If you are buring oil, you will see blue smoke from the exhaust when start up and when you rev the car hard (If you see blue smoke when driving normally, your engine need to be rebuilt or something.)

Also, if you check your oil level and if it is droping, there is a good chance that you are burning oil (if there is no leaking anywhere).

So, what makes you thinking that you are burning oil?

If you did not notice oil consuming before and have not change your driving style. Then it might be something wrong. But, if you use oil since after break-in, then, as everyone said, it is normal with VTECing. Nothing to be worried about.

Also, make sure to check the oil level after the car has been sitting for at least 2 hours. If u only consume like 1qt between oil change (about 3k miles), there is nothing need to be worried about.
