Bumper Light Question

Hi, this is my very first post as I myself am now a Prelude owner

I bought two bumper lights that are to replace the current ones since they both are in horrible shape. I put one of the brand new lights on the passenger side of the bumper lights but as I noticed when I put the new bumper light, the cover beneath it is loose(Kinda looks like a cover) and the new bumper light doesnt grab or clip onto what is suppose to. So for the time being I put tape on it to hold it so it wont fall while I am driving. I want to fix it but I don't know what the part is called for me to search to see how to fix the problem, or where to purchase it. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

you're talking about the lights on the side of the bumper? or the turn signals on the front?

turn singnals fit into a hole on the bumper, and then screw in

hole (left, above the fog light in this pic) - right side you can see the where the screw goes

this thread shows how to take the blinkers out

if you're talking about the side lights, not sure what you are talking about, post pics.

Honda Automotive Parts
but here are the parts for both blinker and side markers.

Ill post pics up soon enough and I will try to see if there is a screw placements on the back side of the handle. I will post pics on what I tried to do and how to place it without it being loose and aswell as how to remove the old bottom portion bumper lights to install the new ones. Thank you man!

I think you're talking about the side markers right? Go to a junk yard and grab it from an other honda similar to our year... Mainly the accords. I took like 6 of them and they only charged me for 1 pair haha.. which is like $3.

Well every light works except the bumper side light (driver side), the low beam and the parking light and all of these lights are in the driver side of the headlights. So the only way I can actually use both lights is when I have them on high beam. I've changed the lights, fuses and everything. So I am down to few options, which is it's either the turn signal switch or it's an electrical problem. On my dash the left hand turn signal stays on. It's not the relay since my turn signals work fine but it's those three lights that are giving me a problem. The backlights are in working condition. I was wondering if I we're to change the turning light switch, would that be the key or just a waste?

You may be missing the clip that allows a screw to secure the bumper light to the bumper.
This is what happened to me and I had to buy a new one from Honda for $2.50.

90303-SA5-003 Nut, FR. Combination Light.

That's the first time I hear about that. Would this help in the light for the side bumper, low beam and the parking light to go on?
I am being optimistic about it. Thank you so much and as soon as I get the part I will issue an update whether that was the problem. What do you think about switching the turn light signal switch?

Thanks man! All of a sudden the only way my headlights work is if they are on high beam now. Im thinking of taking it to a mechanic that does electrical work but I don't know how much the mechanic would charge :/
