okay, i just got a polished AEM CAI for $193.11 its on itz way to the shop right now and im gonna install it myself. the more i think about it, the more i felt like i wasted my money. what is normal price for a polished CAI? all i can think about is losing my lowend power, which i think our preludes need!!!

Maybe wait for the new AEM CAI to come out? I want more info... I've heard scepticle statements here and there about it and I'm becoming more curious as time passes...

New CAI? What are they doing to the old one? Or are you referring to the ones that come with the AEM filter instead of the K&N? cuz I have the one with the AEM filter on it.

ya, the aem filter adds 10hp or something .... haha ... shya right.

supposedly it's a better design, but he may be referring to the polished cai.

No, I'm sorry... My mindset is mostly functionality and performance before looks. That said I was talking about a newly designed one that I suppose would be better? I didn't know about the K&N filter one or whatever, nor was that what I was referring to. Polished one? haha... I know a little more than that, rather than to offer a simply polished regular AEM CAI over any other one.

Sorry for draging on, I'm in a weird ass mood and it's late!

I actually think it is a better design. If you actually look inside your filter you will see the difference. As for it making a performance difference...i dunno.

Believe me just get the AEM CAI The only diff. btwn. the new and old style is that AEM is using there own filters which was dynoed at 1-3hp increase.
