brake lite comes on randomly

when i accelerate hard my brake lite in the dash comes on for a few seconds. dies anyone know what could possibly be causing this??

Maybe the E-brake wasn't down all the way. Thus when taking off it moves up and the light will come on. Thats just my 2 cents.

i had the same problem before, turned out my brake fluid was low. that's it.

also thats a indicator of low brake pads, when the pads get really low, it senses low brake fluid. had the same problem, changed front brake pads and it went away

Jackman is right, this happend to me also when I would floor my car from a stand still. Turns out that my brake pads were very low.
