Brake Fluid Level, replacement.

For aslong as I had my lude, the brake fluid level was never at the max level, it was also resting at exactly at the minimum level. I have 168K miles and I never changed the brakefluid. Lately the emergency brake light has been coming on and I think it has to do with the low level. But when I read the Haynes Manual.. it says to fill it all the way up to max... for bleeding. No where does it say to fill to max. I fear overfilling it.
Any suggestions.

How are your brakes? You may need to change them.

How could you overfill it? There is a line that says MAX and a line that says MIN anywhere in between is fine. Use Honda brake fluid.

I've got the same problem..the e-brake has been coming on for years and I thought it was due to some faulty wiring..the fluid STILL hasn't been changed though. I think i'll check it out pretty soon.
