brake calipers on stuck - Honda Prelude Forum

i have a 97 lude i put 2 new brake calibers and a new but use brake proportionate valve and still geting stuck i have bleed all 4 and still nuthing... i have bleed the brakes 2 times and they bleed just fine. so i know it not the master brake or the booster.. i need HELP asap please!!

they only go down a lil bite then are hard as hell...

Does it feel different after the car has sat for a period of time?

Is this with the engine running or not or both?

uummm i would have to say both.. and the right passenger side lock up first as well. its like the brake fluid dont want to go back when u push on it.. the only thing i can thing of is the abs or brake line??

yea after i let it seat i can drive it for about 4 minutes then it locks up agin.

There should be 4-6mm of free play at the pedal before you start to move the piston in the brake master cylinder.

If you do not have this free play and the master cylinder is not allow to return to its full rest position, you can get a pressure build up in the system.

If you do not have any free play, adjust the rod between the pedal and the BMC.

oh i just check the brake pedal and it comes back to where it needs to be... and yea i get that free play with it..

BMC - Brake Master Cylinder

Sounds like your BMC could be faulty There isn't a lot to the braking system.
