same here. Prelude headlights aren't cheap. If I pick a color to paint my car that would look good with black housings I'll do it so you can see the results.

Do it. I did it on my black '97 and it looks awesome. I wanted my lights to look kinda like the newer preludes with the darker housings, but i wanted it to be flat black. I wasn't even going to do my car, but I wanted to do it on my friends Civic and he wouldn't let me do it unless I did mine first. Needless to say I was nervous because I had never seen a 5th. gen with black housing, but I'm glad I did it because I get compliments all the time. I know its good when people ask me where I bought my headlights from. It would look even better on newer Ludes that don't have as much road debris damage as mine. Its not very noticeable unless I were to park right next to a prelude with stock housings. I'll post some pics if you want and tell you how to do it.

on HP.com there was a guy under the nickname RockyMountainPrelude and he had the black headlights on red car. Personally I didn't like it. It's all a matter of opinion, like everything else we do to our cars. So maybe when that sight is back up, you can check his setup out. But I like cleanliness of your car right now Shizzle. I wouldn't mess with that stuff.
