Big Problems

Ok I had what i thought was a junked clutch (making the stick in the fan noise) so i took it to my dealer crossing my fingers that they would agree thta 17,000 was a little early to grenade a clutch.

I get a phone call this morning (after 1 week)

" We thought you needed a new clutch so we ordered one and went to install it.

This is what we found during the install;

the bolts had backed out of the flywheel into the clutch ruining both, as a result it also ruined the crank and we now have to tear down the lower half or your motor for a new crank, flywheel and clutch..........You can expect your car back in about a week.

Oh yeah feel free to keep the loaner for as long as it takes to get yours fixed"

Once I stopped shaking I managed to find out that the whole thing will be warrantied (thank f'n God)

However The ever stylish '98 Accord Limited Edition that is my loaner is killin' me to drive..........$24,000 for my 'Lude and I'm puttin' around in a 4 door.

ouch.. that sux...

thank god it was under warranty. That would've been an easy 2,500 + fix from honda.

I've never heard of a problem like that from a honda... very weird.
