Best oil- poll

This is poll on what you think the best oil brand is. Not synthetic vs generic. I would like what brand you feel works best for your 5gen prelude. If you are not using the correct oil weight and viscosity don't reply because you are already using the wrong oil and so you have no say. FYI the weight/ viscosity for a car is determined by protection and how the oil flows through the motor. So don't listen to the jackass who says 10-40 is the best.

Any ways back to the poll. what do you think is the best oil brand based on ussage. High end and standard grade.( i mean cost i guess)

Standard grade I like castrol. Top grade never bought any but would like to try royal purple.

STANDARD: CASTROL
TOP: ASSUMING ROYAL PURPLE

Uhhh, are you asking preferance, or actual fact?

I use valvoline synpower(full synth). With mobl 1 filters.

Maybe this sin't what you're looking for, but when I found this atricle in the 5th gen FAQ I loved it, I had been looking for this type of write-up for years. VERY VERY good info in my opinion. :NTPOG Oil Filter Review

I guess i will just keep saying it... Eneos #1
Royal Purple #2
Mobile 1 #3
But to break in the engine use only Genuine Honda Oil...remember it is this blood that taints the engine soul; its what makes Honda above all other.

That is a good article....I personally am a die hard K&N fan, i use eneos 5w30 and top up every fuel(94 oct) change and keep reserve in my trunk(just in case) and i always have enough oil and a new filter on hand.

I believe I'm going to think with my dipstick, Jimmy. Which means I might be changing from Castrol GTX to Castrol Edge.

That really isn't that big of a difference, however, I don't know if you're joking or serious.
