I've been writing back and forth to these people and what I've found is that we can do 599.00 each anyway. Why not let him know that we have an offer of 600 bucks without the groupbuy?

I know my figure of 600 each is w/o shipping but I'm wondering if 50 bucks for shipping is really legit. Heck, if it was 5 or so of us, which it might really be, then I could see 600 shipped. But for 10 of us, I mean...that's 6000 dollars of buisness in one shot.

If they work of commission, that guy is making mad loot of us, no?

Let me know if I'm totally wrong here.

I'm replying to my own posts, but let's get a real list of people in the group buy.

Whatever happens let's say we buy it at the end of the month?
That's 2 weeks from now. That should get more people in it.

I'm happy with the leather seats I had installed by Classic Soft Trim for $995 plus tax. Below is a link to the thread I started on this website.

Leather Interior Thread

Here is a link to the pics of my interior right after installation. Of note, over a month the leather shrank (as expected) and looks tighter and better.

Any suggestions would be great! Thank you.

i think its not that difficult, i heard it is easier than installing gauges..

To answer the multi-color question on the E&G leather--YES they can do that along with most any other request for piping, stitching, perforating, and modifications using special patterns. You may have to pay extra, but they can and will accomodate you.

NOT easier than gauge install! I must repeat.........Don't attempt without a Helm's manual! The last thing you want to do is ruin your original seatcovers and have no clue how to correctly install the leather. Your original seatcovers come off in reuseable condition(hint)

i havent gotten my seats yet, but i did get my install kit in the mail today.

the leather kit was shipped out on friday and i should get it some time this week.

i get a katzskin leather kit black with electron blue inserts and black embroided H emblems on the front seats.

Does anyone have a write up on leather seat installs?

I'm going to do this myself and spread it for a time period of 3-4 days.

is there anything in particular i should know about installing leather seats and removing factory cloth covers?
