Go with what looks best to you in style and color. BUT get the very best leather you can afford. Also remember that what you are actually buying, unless you have a huge wad of money, is a seat covering that has vinyl for the seatback-only the part you sit on and touch with your back is real leather.
There are a number of us who have the E&G Classic-and it looks absolutely like stock except for 1 added seam that is required to properly fabricate it.
Personally, I've seen all 3 products and I will stick with E&G for any future projects.
Enjoy it

just curious, anybody know how much of a dif it would be if i were to go to let's say stitchcraft and had them do the work for me, over me ordering the stuff and doing it myself?
hey the E&G group buy is the one in the pic right...two tone black and tan leather? Is there a way we can get different colors...like black and blue in the middle sections?
hey guys, i asked that guy, and im trying to do these following;
>5 people = $650 shipped for two-tone, middle part perforated, installation kit, Embroidery
>8 people = $625 shipped
>10 peopel = $600 shipped
original price was 650 plus shippeing without middle part perforated, installation kit, Embroidery..
Am new to all this, but the model lude i am looking to buy is metallic dark green, with gold badges, this has tan leather with green piping and red 'H' on headrests. Is this good then???
What do you guys think of this color scheme? I'm trying to be conservative here so keep that in mind. Black leather with dark graphite inserts. Maybe just graphite instead of dark graphite? What do you think? I have a 2001 silver satin metallic.

OK People-Just a very friendly reminder. The 3 makers of Leather replacemnt coverings for Prelude seats offer them in several versions. The standard setup used by most manufacturers and car buyers has leather (real) only on the actual seating surfaces - fanny and back - that you touch. The side skirts and rear of the buckets are made of Vinyl. I went thru this with Katzkin and Classic SoftTrim who said it was 100% leather and they were not. ONLY E&G Classic was straight up about the materials. You can get your covers done in a range of colors and stitching. Some companys charge extra for anything other than black materail and stitching.
My advice to all of you is to be very specific about what you want and the final price delivered to you. This is not the easiest project to do, but can be a DYI if you have any real ability and know how to use a "hog ring" plier.
Hope this helps with your GB

What is the website for E&G Leather? I might be interested in a group buy.
