whats teh difference between the neuspeed koni yellows and the "regular" ones? i know that the neuspeed are 5-way adjustable, but what makes them better than the other ones? i also heard that u can adjust the height with the shocks... is this true? peace~!!~

The regular ones are 3 way adjustable and u can adjust the ride height by adjusting the stiffness of the ride, etc. but they are not meant to be used as 'coilovers'

Height adjustment is done with the spring pirch. The NS one has more notches than the Koni standard yellow
They both have the same rebound adjustment for stiffness (but I think the Neuspeed rebound may be more aggressive).
The other main difference is the length of the NS shaft has been shortened to make it more efficient as a lowered setup.

By 5way and 3way I have no idea what was meant by that. The stiffness adjustment is not like KYB that use the notches.

ok I think you are a little confused here. The 5-way adjustable perches are for adjusting the ride height. Regular Koni Yellows has 3 perches in the front and 2 in the rear, or vis versa. Like what pIOUs said, the stiffness adjustment is not like KYB that use the notches which has numbers. On Konis you have adjust by feel. Ex. The way I adjust it by is 1 or half turn from the softest setting.

it wouldn't really matter all that much cuz once you set the perch at one level, you are very UNLIKELY to redo it again.

My drop is definitely more than 1.4in cuz I set the Konis on the lowest perch and as for H&R springs, I got them from www.inlinefour.com for $160 shipped.

The ANSWER IS-
Neuspeed has additional grooves to set the perch plats and the shaft is 20mm shorter. Standard Koni shocks have 2 perch grooves in front and 3 for the rears. Next, the valving for the Neuspeed version is more agressive than standard. The rebound adjustment for both is a continuous 2-turn adjustment on the top thru the piston shaft for rebound only.

i'm probably gonna get the "regular" Koni Yellows this spring and i wanted to know if i can keep the car at it's current height...right not i have Neuspeed Race springs and the drop is perfect...just wondering if i can place the perches at a level where they would maintain the exact same ride height as the car is right now?

TIA
