from my understanding what people think of you car is more important to you then what you want. so the idea of what you want is out of the question. the idea of what people think of your car is the question.
the majority of the population sees the black widow, vis octane, ww rs aggressive kit etc... as wild and flashy. many of these people do not seem to like this sort of style. as you can see, the majority of prelude owners except for a few feel the same way about aggressive kits on a prelude. that's why you see most prelude owners opt for the oem, mugen or the clean jdm look which is basically all the samething... clean and simple looking.
i have the oem bodykit, and where i'm from my car stands out. i get compliments from every person from every age. even the people with aggressive kits on their civic/integra/neons are looking at my ride with mouths dropped down to the floor. you know why? because my **** is clean! imo, i rather drive something that attracts positive attention from all people then just a few select group of people. don't get me wrong, aggressive kits look great when done right but i just don't see it on a prelude.
another thing is you need to factor in is most aggressive bodykits are imo are not suitable for the normal driving conditions. i have many friends who have aggressive bodykits but the front end is shredded because it couldn't clear the dips in the road or the uphill/downhill road conditions. some aggressive kits hang low and just think about trying to drive up or downhill with minimal clearance. i cringe when i scrape my tow hook when i'm trying to pull out of a parking lot that has an uneven road and i'm only lowered at 2in (front) which isn't even low when you look at my car.
this is my own opinion so take it as it is. good luck on your decision! btw, i would recommend the oem or mugen bodykit. who cares if everyone has it. trust me, with the right set of wheels and something like the oem/mugen kit your car will look unique.
