I had the Apex-i N1 but after I installed my JRSC, it was WAY too loud, so I replaced it with a Tanabe Hyper Medallion, it is really nice a quiet!!! cos I really wanted to hear the sound of the charger over the rumble of a loud exhaust, even though the N1 probably gave me a bit more power!!!

Thermal

If you can afford it the Mugen is a great choice. Personally, I'll keep my Thermal on the 5th gen and Civic HB. They both are not hard on my hearing, look great (IMO) and are full stainless for a long life.

TRM sounds nothing like mugen, in fact it is considered as one of the loudest.

Thats correct TRM is one of the loudest nicest low sounding exhuasts you can buy. It is very very nice sounding as for all RPM ranges, TRM makes Greddy sound quiet.

imo, the tanabe racing medallion is the perfect exhaust for the 5th gen. honda prelude other then mugen. let's just say if your trying to creep into your driveway without waking up mommy and daddy you can forget about the trm. other then the trm being loud, it sounds nice! maybe i'm bias because i have the trm.
