BB6 with spoon calipers

Does anyone know of a good reference for mounting the spoon calipers on a BB6 properly? Also does anyone know which ones you need to get?

From what I can find there are two models that could fit:

45020-MBR-G00 AP1/2, CL7 & EP3
and
45020-MBR-G01 DC2, DC5, DB8 & EK9

I suspect it's the second (G01) model that fits, but I would like to confirm before dropping the loot to get them.

I can't seem to find a good how to but I have found a bunch of 'here they are mounted' but not what mods were needed if any, and the last one I saw seemed to indicate that they could mount them but wheel fitment is a pain and they get in the way a bit.

Hey that's me! haha. Glad my write up helped someone out
I was in search for one when I was about to install my Spoon calipers and couldn't find one so I wrote one up.

You want Spoon Twin Block (4pot) Calipers. Part number 45020-DCR-G00
EK9, DC2 98 Spec ITR all share the same sized rotor as BB6 Preludes so any of those Spoon calipers that are ment for those cars will fit on Preludes.

Just look for 45020-DCR-G00 it'll work 100%.
You will need a 5mm spacer if you want to have them on your OEM 16inch wheels.
It's a pretty simple installation just make sure you bleed your brakes right after or you'll have a dead brake pedal.

Hope this info helps.

Thanks
Mike

Yup! Those exact same instructions came with my calipers, in both English and Japanese.
Like I said. super easy to install.

Hey, sorry for bringing back an old thread but does anyone know how much these calipers weigh? I forgot to put them on a scale before installation. I know they are lighter but by how much? I think one caliper is about 5lbs? 2.4ish kg? Anyone know the EXACT number?
