Can someone breakdown what the BB 6/8 designation means? Seems like it has to do something with the engines but for the SiR, they share the same engine so it looks like the differnce between BB 6/8 would be the 4WS option??
What are the NA Base and SH Prelude's designations?

i know that the uk and japan had 4ws models, dont know where else though...here in australia we had the 4th gen 4ws, and the third, but not the 5th...wonder why? The fifth DOES have the WORST turning circle of the three

Yes it's a JDM option (and as others said it might be available elsewhere). You can find the specs in the link below and yes they are in Japanese so you'll have to translate them with bablefish or something. It's only available on the SiR and Si.

tocalirify, the type s has atts and climate control, the SiR has 4ws and navigation. Both of which produce 220hp stock. Different leather, bla bla. U get the idea.
you are correct. i gotta vent on the us spec ludes cuz one thing is for sure, we got seriously jipped with our us spec prelude models. someday someone will convert their us spec prelude to a jdm. that would be cool. i'd do it but there's way too much to get like a freaking new rear window for a wiper or that navi system. i think i'll just try and get a black leather ss jdm shifter knob and a type-s tail. that would be nice.

Um no, The SiR is rated at 200ps and the SiR S-Spec is rated at 220 ps like the Type S. If you look at the page I posted you will see that 4ws was only and option with the Sir, not the SiR S-Spec.

BB8 is sold in Europe, it has 2.2VTEC engine and 4WS, but the engine was rated 185 HP(DIN)here in Turkey for 1997-1999 models so I think they used the old engine here b/c of the fuel quality.(too much sulfur in fuel)
Another interesting thing is I'm quite certain that my car is an OBDI version b/c it has only 1 oxygen sensor which is before the cat.
