Battery/starting issue

Ok,so the other day I was driving my car to class and the car was running perfect.I pulled into a parking spot and turned the car off.I then decided that i would rather have the car backed in,so i went to turn the car back on and nothing. Not even the radio would turn on. I then proceeded to jump start the car,and it started up no problem. I then drove the car around town and then back to my house to try and get the battery charged up again. When i got home i turned it off and tried turning it back with the same result...no power. I checked the batteries voltage and it read 12.69v,that was with no load. Now with the battery at 12.69v my interior lights, headlights, radio and all other accessories don't power on. It doesn't make sense to me,the battery has power but wont power anything on.I haven't checked the alternator yet but the car runs perfect once its started so I don't see it being the alternator, but ill check it anyway. The car jump starts fine so it can't be the starter or the wires going to the starter.I'm stumped guys, any help would be greatly appreciated

Call your local honda dealer and ask them if your car's ignition switch recall has been done yet. They will ask you for your vin. You also might want to get the battery tested at autozone or some other place with a load tester.

Did you test the battery with the DVOM when the car was running or when it was off? With the car running you should get somewhere between 13V to 14.5V but as high as 16V. Mind you without having anything on

Ok guys,I tested the battery with the car funning and got a reading of 14.57v,so I guess the alternators working.Something that I don't understand is when I loosened the positive battery cable and moved it about 2 degrees on the terminal and everything turned on,radio, headlights, fuel pump ect.I had already checked for resistance from the battery terminal to the cable and it read .1ohms. The car now starts and powers on without any problems, doesthat make any sense?

Ok..in that case, you might just have a bad connection between then battery post and the cable. Suggest cleaning the battery post and the cable connection.
