Which battery to buy? - Honda Prelude Forum

Hi all,

Since the day I've had my licence, every car that I bought need to start immediately. I hated a car that didn't start well. The main cause was the battery.

Now, I have (finally) a Prelude, and this car normally starts quit well. But since it's winter, it tends to take a little bit more time to start. And as if it is dying. So I am planning to change the battery.

I've already changed a lot, like the Delco, sparkcables, rotor, etc... So I think it's the battery. The liquid shows green though...

But what I wander is, what brand should I buy?

Optima Yellow or Red Top.

Sure. It is lighter and you can mount it in any orientation you'd like since it is a dry cell.

If you are looking for just a regular battery...they are pretty much all made in the same factories.

I've been running a Optima yellow top in my car, and haven't had any issues. You can sometimes find them on craigslist for cheap. I paid $115 for mine and it was brand new
