base mode and sh...are the shocks interchangeable?

are the shocks on base model and sh interchangeable?...i have a base model and put on SH shocks, now the car drive like theres something loose...i'm driving straight and its goin side to side....anybody have any idea wht this could be?

1. they are interchangable if you use the whole shock/spring combo from either car.

2. Seems like user install error.

its both shocks and springs...i checked all the bolts everything is all tight...could it be something else?...

Could be a bad bushing somehwere in your suspension. Or it could need an alignment. One time, after installing camber kits and new shocks/springs on my civic, the alignment was wayy off. It was hard to control when driving and it sounded like something was loose when I hit bumps. After the alignment, everything was just fine.

That or its an installation error.

..And the reason I mentioned bushings is because the bushings in my rear LCA's were pretty shot. It sounded like my back shocks were real loose when I hit bumps. Real clunky. Got some new bushings in and it was as quiet as could be.

The SH's springs and shocks are different from the Base's both front and rear. They are not interchangeable although they can physically fit either way.
